ISSC Proprietary Gated Community Access Software
Multiple levels of web interfaces connect management companies, ISSC, the residence gate houses, payroll, and resident pre-clearance via phone and website.
The software at the gatehouse prints passes for regular visitors, pre-approved guests, extended hours, health care workers, records driver's license info and can dial the resident automatically.
This program does everything. The officer scans in the visitor's driver's license, the system parses and stores the visitor data directly from the license. The same scanner can scan a pass to authorize re-entry, including longer duration passes for health care workers or companions. It is even integrated with TWILIO to create QR codes for approved visitors to ease congestion at busy gate houses.
There are over 1.5 million logged entries for over 20 communities, and the data is immediately accessible to management and when necessary to authorized law enforcement, including time stamping for every transaction and the originator's employee ID.
Because power outages cannot be allowed to shut down access, the system records every transaction locally, and updates the master server database every 20 minutes, or as soon as connectivity is restored. This data stream is bi-directional, so changes made to a resident's record are live at the gate house almost immediately. It is this unique updating that permits the system to function smoothly, no matter what occurs in the area!
